Does your idea of a dream job include an above-average income but you aren't sure what your options are? There are a number of job categories that include six figure jobs for you to consider. If making good money is your goal, then you may want to consider jobs in these fields: - Aviation - Finance - Law - Medicine - Military - Sales and Marketing If you have been bitten by the aviation bug, you may want to consider becoming an airline pilot or an air traffic controller. To become an airline pilot, you must have good eyesight and hearing. The ability think clearly and follow procedures in high-stress situations is another requirement for this kind of work, since the pilot is responsible for the safety of the aircraft as well as its passengers and crew. The air traffic controller is an essential part of the staff on the ground. They are responsible for communicating with aircraft during takeoff and landings. The air traffic controller also ensures that aircraft are kept at a safe distance away from each other during flight. Air traffic controller candidates must have good eyesight and hearing to do their job, which can be very stressful. Finance is another area where you can find high-paying jobs. If you are good with numbers and you can think through things in a logical manner, then you may do well in this area. Corporations may designate someone as the Chief Financial Officer, whose function is to manage the accounts payable and receivable for the company. The law is another career field that offers high paying jobs. If you have good reasoning ability and can consider an issue from different viewpoints, then a career as a lawyer may be the right choice for you. Judges are charged with making decisions that decide issues between parties, and affect people's lives in a very real way. If you like the idea of sharing your legal knowledge with others, then you may want to consider becoming a law professor. The medical field is chock full of very lucrative work. Doctors who specialize in different areas of practice are members of the Six Figure Job Club, but they also spend a great deal of time learning the skills necessary to do this kind of work. Family physicians, internists, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, obstetrician/gynecologists, and surgeons are all examples of jobs in this category. Dental professionals are also well paid for their skills, and this group includes general practitioners as well as oral and maxillofacial surgeons, prosthodontists, and orthodontists. If you want to get paid what you are worth on the job without having to deal with the limits of a salary cap, you may want to consider a job in sales. If you have a pay structure that includes commission, your income is only limited by your ability to make sales. The military is another source of high pay jobs. You won't get to a top-ranked position in the Armed Forces right away. If you are prepared to stay in for the long haul, and you have some combat experience, you may advance to the rank of General or Admiral and get the pay check that accompanies it.
