To change the way of life is to live in simplicity. To be child – like in every way. Try to re-learn what you have almost forgotten as a child. To live in simplicity is to experience the best life. The park is one place that children love. Play with kids. Free yourself and enjoy to the fullest. Stop thinking of tomorrow, to enjoy what you have today. Free your mind from worries. Run, dance, jump and fly kite with the children.
Sometimes we are too busy and too preoccupied because we want so much that we are spending so much time working. We can never be happy with this kind of life. We always have to give time for our families; it is the one thing that has to get so much time and attention. Our relationships with people have to be on top of the list. Stop doing things that may complicate your life only to find out that you have the money but you have lost the people you thought would benefit from working so late at night.
Build relationships and not barriers to your relationship with others.
All the more that I will suggest, play paintball with your family, it is one game where you can jive with them regardless of your age, bond with your child while playing paintball. Bring back your childhood on that paintball field. Wear that Ghillie Suit, aim that gun and shoot that paintball pellet. Winning is secondary to enjoying. You may want to give this chance of winning to your kid's team. If only we could do everything that has to be done and still have so much more time for family maybe there will be a balance in our lives. If you have a day off in a week, it would be enough but you have to loosen up and really free your mind. Enjoy and don't be too uptight.
Paintball is just an option. You can enjoy board games with your family, chit-chatting and catching up. You can prepare a dinner for everyone to share. You can buy snacks for your late at night movie marathon. You don't have to spend a lot on these activities. Balance your time for work and family. You have to weigh which one should come first. I know work is also important. Work should be done in the confines of the office building, once you are out, spend time with the ones you love. Who says you cannot have both in abundance, and you only need to pick one? There is no truth to that, you can always have your family as your inspiration in working hard but do it in the time allotted for that. Never bring home your work, and if you have to, one paintball game with them would be fair enough. There are times when we go out of our way to do our work, I guess we have to sometimes do it in favor of family bonding.
