Mini sites are used primarily for advertising purposes. These are small web sites that usually consist of only one web page and sometimes a couple more but not as complicated as any regular site. These sites can stand on its own and usually consists of links to point you towards the existing main site. The beauty about this is that these sites can actually do wonders for your online income. If used effectively this could turn into a money mini site instead of your usual, ordinary mini web page used to advertise a certain product.
For a mini site to be successful, you need to have a focus on certain products that you could effectively sell through a well-written sales page. You would certainly want to draw volume and traffic into your mini site in order to increase the chances of making sales. To do this, you would need to perform the following steps to making money through mini sites:
1. Step 1 - Decide on your niche. Choose your target market and then what product you wish to sell. Once you've found out about your niche, then you can start working on your strategy and begin designing your webpage.
2. Step 2 - Creating your mini site If you have a Google account, you can sign in and click on sites. Google has a user-friendly interface and a set of commands that would prompt you on what to do next so it is fairly easy. They also have wonderful templates to choose from. You can set up your own mini site through this feature of Google, then add articles, pictures and product guides and samples into this web page. Write very good articles that would highlight your products' main features and add testimonials of people who have had the joys of using your product. This would help make your minister attractive and informative at the same time.
3. Step 3 - Use backlinks to bring in the traffic Once you have setup your mini site, you may now proceed to strategizing how to drive traffic into your site. You need a lot of visitors into your webpage for it to become a money minister. And to get more people to visit your page, you need to create backlinks to the blogs and sites you have visited so that people could follow these links and see your own website. Leave comments in these sites you have visited with your backlink as your signature for other people to see.
You can also do this through social networking sites like Facebook, Friendster, Twitter and MySpace. Just post the backlinks in your profile and your network will be able to follow these links.
4. Step 4 - Maintenance Try to revisit your stats so that you could see how well you are doing. If the numbers don't change after a couple of weeks or months of implementation, then you must create a new strategy. Bookmark your sites regularly and look for other ways to keep that traffic coming.
Remember that not all people have money mini site. Some people plainly have mini sites that don't generate a lot of money. It is up to you to keep up with the trends and the competition.
