In 1993, God's Future World radio program, presented by Gerald Flurry, was transformed into a 30-minute television program—the Key of David. The program is sponsored by the Philadelphia Church of God and production takes place in the church's television studios on the campus of Herbert W. Armstrong College in Edmond, Oklahoma. The Key of David is produced in Hi-Definition quality and has received various awards in recognition of broadcast excellence over its 17 years history. Firmly established in many key markets worldwide, the Key of David has access to a potential audience of over 400 million. In addition to over the air and cable broadcasts, weekly episodes are available online through various media channels such as podcasting, Youtube, and can be downloaded and streamed from its website. In the past two years viewer response to the program has more than quadrupled and audience reach and impact have seen significant increases. The program has received over 1 million viewer responses to date. The Key of David seeks to cut a distinctive profile among the landscape of modern devotional programming. Presenter Gerald Flurry discusses world events and trends in the light of biblical prophecies which he highlights are coming into rapid fulfillment. The program's format is frank, bold and rational. Viewers describe it much like a weekly news program and find it refreshingly devoid of overt emotional sentimentality. Key of David program titles include "God's Holy Day Plan," "Crown of the Holy Roman Empire," "Who or What is the Prophetic Beast?," "Proof of the Bible," "The Incredible Human Potential," "Why Keep the Ten Commandments?" "The Solution to America's Financial Crisis," "Marriage is a Mystery," and others. The success of the program can be greatly attributed to its similarity in format and message to Herbert W. Armstrong and The World Tomorrow television program, one of the most popular religious programs in the world during the 1970s and 80s. He accurately forecast the removal of the Berlin Wall decades before 1989 (he died in 1986), among other events. The Key of David delivers regular messages warning of the growing power and influence of the European Union. Programs have focused on the joint plan of the Vatican and Germany to destabilize the Balkans, Croatia's sham democracy and the snubbing of the Dayton Peace Accord, the real reasons for the Kosovo debacle, under-the-table activities in NATO led by Germany, the meaning behind communism's collapse and reemergence in Russia, South Africa's political destabilization, the Asian financial meltdown, Britain's loss of international influence and America's disintegration of superpower status, Australia's disassociation with the British monarchy, Israel's internal division over the peace process, China's theft of U.S. military secrets and takeovers of vital global sea gates, among others. Over 534 episodes have been recorded to date. In addition to studio recordings, the program has been recorded on location in Washington, Philadelphia, New York, Los Angeles, Pasadena, London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Berlin, Athens, Johannesburg, Sydney, Hong Kong, Manila, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Amman, Shiloh, Caesarea, Petra and other cities around the world.

Gerald Flurry founded the Philadelphia Church of God in 1989. Mr. Flurry is also the face of the Key of David television program and is the editor in chief of the Trumpet news magazine.
