The subconscious mind is one that is living within you logic processes, and while it is not there for you to see in plain sight, do not be mistaken. It is one of the most powerful parts of the human psyche and it has a hand in controlling every aspect of your mind. One thing you need to know is that we always underestimate the power of the subconscious mind and this is something that we need to stop doing. It is far more powerful that we take it for and we need to start learning how to use this to our advantage. What you need to first and foremost know about, is why it is there and how does it function as an entity living within the cortex of our brain. Consider the unconscious mind as the storage room of everything that is presently not in your self-conscious mind; it stores all your previous lifetime experiences, your belief system, your memories, your skills, all positions you've been through, and all images you've ever seen. The best way to realize the subconscious mind is through the exercise of somebody who's just started to discover how to drive. At the beginning, he wouldn't be able to hold a conversation with anyone while driving as he would be focusing on the different moves involved; that's because he's still using his conscious mind to drive. A few calendar weeks later, the driving procedure comes to him automatically, without having to do any considering; he'd even start using his cell or talk to his friends as he drives. This on account of the fact that the driving information or procedure has been transmitted to his unconscious mind and so the conscious mind is free to function on something else, like talking or using his cell phone. The subconscious mind remembers everything and anything that you have done before in your life. In fact, it is so powerful because of one aspect and one aspect only, and that is the power of association. The power of association is so potent, that whatever it is you have been associating as a child is still within your mind and it is affecting your life right now. This is how addiction also stays in the mind and what you need to know is that there are ways to use this for your own uses. Remember, that although the subconscious mind is something that is hidden and we cannot access, does not mean that we are unable to speak to it. There are technologies out there that allow you to access your subconscious even change and insert new associations in your mind. These technologies include anything from autogenics, bio feedback, subliminal and brainwave entrainment. Some of them are available online and for you to purchase them. The good news about this is that these products are really affordable and the benefits to your own personal development is something that you cannot deny. The almighty subconscious mind is getting more and more press and for good reason.
